NewLife is a non-denominational church that meets on Sundays at 10 AM in Wethersfield at 1155 Silas Deane Highway, committed to joining God in his mission of transforming lives, transforming our community, and transforming our world, by the gospel of Christ, to the glory of God.
Jesus said in Matthew 25:35 that when we welcome a stranger, we are actually welcoming him. In that spirit, we invite you to join us, and we hope that we would truly treat you as if you were Jesus Himself coming into our midst. What To Expect
Our Sunday morning worship gathering is held in a converted white office building on the corner of the Silas Deane Hwy and Mill St, next to Chase Bank, with the entrance facing Mill St. Sunday morning worship begins at 10:00 and usually ends between 11:00-11:15. The main components are a time of singing, with a mix of contemporary praise songs and traditional hymns, and a sermon based on a passage from the Bible (you can listen to past sermons on our website and watch full services on our YouTube page). After the sermon, there is a time of responsive prayer and singing before the benediction. During the sermon and closing worship time, there is Sunday School for children in grades K-5, and nursery care is provided throughout the service for children from 6 months - 4 years old. After the service, you are welcome to stay around and enjoy the refreshments as we can get to know each other better.
